The owner requested a high gloss, stained finish for all of the vertical grain, clear fir trim and cabinets in this repurposed hay barn. The finish is reminiscent of old runabout boats seen on beautiful waterways around the world. After a request was made for colorful leather strips to adorn the staircase wall, colors to match were added as well, to liven up the place as a guest house fit for a literal “King.”
